The Consorzio Argentieri Export was founded in 1998 as the "Consorzio Anipa Export". The main purpose of the Consortium is to support Italian Companies in marketing their products in other countries, through the organization of explorative missions, product testing and the participation to the most important Fairs for silver manufacturing sector.

Every year, the Consorzio Argentieri Export also organizes a promotional initiative program, independently and/or in cooperation with the Italian National Promotional Institutions (the Ministry of Foreign Trade and the "Istituto per il Commercio Estero ICE" - Institute for Foreign Trade), and with local Authorities of Ancona and Macerata, Chambers of Commerce, Centro Estero delle Camere di Commercio ed Aziende Speciali - Foreign Center of Chambers of Commerce and Special Companies) - to fully answer the actual needs of the Italian Companies.

There are now 24 Companies members of the consortium participating in the Consortium activities.
During the first few years of its activity, the Consortium has developed a thorough experience on several markets, through its relationships with many individuals, Institutions and Public Authories. This enable the Consorzio Argentieri Export to overcome the obstacles normally found by the Companies entering a market for the first time or by those who try to develop their commercial objectives. The Consortium does not only offer useful services in approaching a market or improving the commercial potentials in a given target country, but it is mostly a partner for its members in any kind of action forCompany internationalization. The Consorzio Argentieri Export carries out a wide range of activities: from mere information collection, to the analysis of a market and country characteristics, as well as the analysis and formulation of a strategy to ensure the success of the various actions.

Among the Consorzio supporting members, there is the Associazione Argentieri (silver-manufacturers association), representing the increasing number of silver manufacturers that have decided to create an Association to support and protect their activities.

Founded in 1989, the Associazione Argentieri's main purpose is to establish strict professional ethical rules, to guarantee product quality, the observance of standards and Laws, the opennessto the crucial contributions continuously offered by its members, through their experience, for the growth of this sector
